Having studied to Advanced 1 Modern and Tap Felicity left DFA to do a degree in Musical Theatre at GSA (Guildford School of Acting). After graduating she went on to tour in ‘Stepping Out’, choreograph Pantomimes and continues to teach at GSA on Saturdays.
Samantha joined DFA for 18 months to get back into jazz and ballet and learn to do pointe work. She completed a BA Hons in Acting for Stage and Media and has an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Development, but her heart really is set on acting. She is signed up with several agencies and has been kept quite busy with supporting roles and walk-on roles in various television productions including ‘Downton Abbey’, ‘Holby City’ and ‘Not going out’.
Anna Holmes joined DFA and studied Ballet, Modern and Tap for several years. During that time she gained her Inter Modern and Tap and therefore was able to go on to the Linda Sweetzer School, where she passed her DDI and DDE in Modern and Tap. During that time she taught for DFA. She now has her own dance school.
Charlotte never intended to dance, she just loved dancing and took part in the Camberley Panto several years running. Charlotte wanted to be a make-up artist, and that’s exactly what she is now doing. Having studied at one of London’s top academy’s she is now travelling Europe working on film sets, cat-walks and video shoots.
Olivia studied ballet, modern and tap to Intermediate level with DFA, appearing in several Camberley Panto’s and then went to Italia Conti to do their Professional Course in Guildford. She then went on to complete the Foundation course and moved to Master College the following year. Olivia is now in her final year and has performed at Move IT and on Children in Need 2014.
Joshua joined DFA to study Tap and Ballet. He was studying modern and musical theatre with Italia Conti Wokingham but needed to get his tap up to speed. Joshua gained his grade 5 Tap and successfully auditioned for Italia Conti London. He has just graduated (2014) and is appearing in Whistle Down the Wind. Joshua also appeared in Harry Potter.
Diana joined DFA with Joshua and took a year out before auditioning for PPA (Performance Preparation Academy) Guildford, She is now in her final year at college.
Nikki has always loved the performing arts, but prefers to be backstage rather than on stage. Having spent 2 years shadowing the Lighting Director for ‘Strictly come Dancing’, she is now studying Digital Production at Ravensbourne, London. This is a 3 year lighting degree that she hopes will see her lighting up the world – well, at least following in her mentor’s footsteps!
